Chesterton, IN— The Catholic Foundation for Northwest Indiana is hosting its inaugural Educational Summit for Endowment Holders on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at 5:45 p.m. in the Lakeside Cafe inside Lakeside Wealth Management at 3100 Village Point #200 in Chesterton.
Together with Lakeside Wealth Management, the Catholic Foundation for Northwest Indiana is bringing together a panel of experts from the Foundation, Lakeside, CLH CPA & Consultants, and Dimensional Fund Advisors to provide discussion and commentary on topics including tax law updates and related impacts on charitable giving, what motivates Millennials to give, investment strategies, and growing an endowment. The panel will also be taking questions from the audience, submitted ahead of time or during the event itself.
With thirty-two funds, the Catholic Foundation holds endowments that benefit a variety of parishes, schools, and organizations. The first event of its kind for the Catholic Foundation, the Summit is meant to provide education for the endowment holders as well as bring them together for fellowship and to share best practices and ideas for growing their funds.
“From rural to suburban environments, supporting everything from schools to cemeteries, each of our funds is unique,” said Liz Metts, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this diversity of experience together for the benefit of all. We hope to make this event annual and cannot wait to see its fruits.”
